Preparation

  1. Cut about a quarter off top of bread loaf, and empty the inside of the bottom part, leaving about 2 cm on the crust.
  2. Fill the inside of the bread in the following order:
    • Spread bottom of bread with mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.
    • Add lettuce leaves
    • OKA L'Artisan slices (5-6 slices)
    • Turkey slices
    • Tomato slices
    • Avocado slices
    • Fresh basil
    • Ham slices
    • Remainder of OKA L'Artisan slices
  3. Add pepper before spreading last layer of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Replace top part of the bread and solidify with toothpicks.
  4. Refrigerate at least 15 minutes before cutting and serving.

Ingredients

  • 250 g OKA L’Artisan to yield about 10-12 slices
  • 1 bread loaf or Belgian-type round bread (approximately 20 cm, 400-500 g)
  • 10-12 thin ham slices (175 g)
  • 10-12 thin turkey slices (175 g)
  • 1 avocado, thinly sliced
  • 1 sliced tomato
  • ½ romaine lettuce
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Dijon mustard
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) mayonnaise
  • Pinch of fresh pepper
  • A few basil leaves (optional)
  • 6 to 8 toothpicks
