Dan LaMarche honored as the 2025 C. Earl Gray Award of Merit recipient by the American Dairy Products Institute®

We are proud to announce that Dan LaMarche recently received the 2025 C. Earl Gray Award of Merit from the American Dairy Products Institute® at the ADPI/ABI Annual Conference held on April 28 in Chicago, Illinois. This award was established in 1991 to recognize individuals who have made a significant difference and positive impact in the processed dairy products industry.
Dan's inspiring journey
Dan LaMarche has dedicated his life to the dairy industry, starting out on his family dairy farm in Wisconsin and in his professional career working for several dairy companies.
Dan's earliest work was with Galloway where he was instrumental in installing an evaporator to produce high heat-treated whole milk powder for the infant formula markets.
Dan, his wife Tammy, and their young family then moved to Hilmar, California, where he worked on installing and running a lactose dryer for Hilmar. His position as the Manager of Lactose was instrumental in their success.
Dan then returned to Wisconsin to work with Trega Foods, where he wore many hats, including production and sales. During his time at Trega, Dan helped grow their footprint, including installing a permeate dryer.
After more than three decades in the dairy industry, Dan retired in 2024 as President of Global Ingredients at Agropur, where his responsibilities included overseeing sales, Research & Development, and technical services.
During his career, Dan was active on ADPI committees for many years and served as a long-time Board of Director and a member of the Executive Committee for over ten years.
He made significant contributions to the dairy industry through his involvement with the production and sale of billions of pounds of lactose and dairy ingredients.
We would like to warmly thank Dan for his contribution to Agropur and the dairy industry.
