From January 13 to 15, Agropur took part in the 40th edition of the Salon de l’agriculture, held in Saint‑Hyacinthe under the theme “Inspire, Innovate and Take Action.” A presence at this flagship event from nearly its beginning, the Cooperative returns year after year. This edition welcomed 11,768 visitors and brought together nearly 250 exhibitors showcasing products, services and equipment designed to support agricultural producers in their projects.

Young Farmers in the Spotlight

This year, Agropur highlighted the Next Generation Network, intended for young people aged 18 to 35 from member farms.

This network aims to foster their involvement in Agropur’s associative life, strengthen their engagement within the cooperative sector and support the development of their skills and leadership. It also seeks to create a space for sharing and networking among young producers, while giving them access to communications related to Agropur and its business environment.

Interest in the Next Generation Network was evident, with numerous registrations completed directly at the booth. This enthusiasm underscores the relevance of the initiative and its potential to empower the next generation.
