Emmanuelle Vincent Continues Her Engagement on Agropur’s Board of Directors
At the Annual General Meeting held on February 11, Agropur members renewed their confidence in Emmanuelle Vincent, a dairy producer from Saint‑Anselme and co‑owner of Ferme Belflamme inc. She begins a new three‑year term as Director for the Est-du-Québec region.
In 2016, Emmanuelle and her partner, Simon Laflamme, completed a non‑family farm transfer, a process that reflects their boldness and determination. Together, they took over the farm and modernized it, notably by transitioning from a tied‑stall herd to a free‑stall operation with robotic milking.
Awarded several distinctions, including the 2025 Prix de la relève agricole from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), Ferme Belflamme inc. embodies the strength of a solid and forward‑looking business model. Driven by their entrepreneurial spirit, Emmanuelle and Simon produce high‑quality milk by focusing on animal welfare, performance and environmental stewardship, all while skillfully balancing family life with their five children.
With a bachelor’s degree in agroeconomics from Université Laval, Emmanuelle quickly developed an interest in the cooperative model. She strengthened this interest by taking part in several key agricultural cooperative programs, including Agropur’s Young Cooperative Leaders Program, Sollio’s Fonds coopératif d’aide à la relève agricole, and Desjardins’ Springboard for Agricultural Youth. These experiences deepened her understanding of Quebec’s cooperative movement and fueled her desire to actively contribute to it.
Well known among members, Emmanuelle served on Agropur’s Board of Directors from 2022 to 2025 as the Next-Generation Director. During this time, she contributed to several strategic initiatives, including the sustainable development committee and the launch of The Milk Box newsletter. With her expertise in agroeconomics, experience in agricultural financing and commitment to the cooperative network, she brings an informed perspective to the Board that is deeply aligned with cooperative values.
“As a director, my goal is clear: to help build an even stronger cooperative for today’s and tomorrow’s dairy producers.”
