Crino sweet dairy whey comes from the drying of fresh, pasteurized whey, which is a coproduct of cheese making. Crino sweet dairy whey is a source of lactose, protein, vitamins, and minerals as well as a small amount of fat.

Applications

Crino sweet dairy whey provides dairy flavor and browning in bakery products and body in other food applications. The pH of sweet dairy whey differs from that of acid whey; containing a pH of greater than or equal to 5.6, while acid whey has a pH of less than or equal to 5.1.
