Crino® sweet dairy whey comes from the drying of fresh, pasteurized whey, a coproduct of cheese making. Crino® sweet dairy whey is a source of lactose, protein, vitamins, and minerals as well as a small amount of fat.

Crino® sweet dairy whey provides dairy flavor and browning in bakery products and body in other food applications. The pH of sweet dairy whey differs from that of acid whey; containing a pH of greater than or equal to 5.6, while acid whey has a pH of less than or equal to 5.1.
